(PITTSBURGH) – The long-running City of Pittsburgh concert series – Bach, Beethoven and Brunch is back. WQED-FM 89.3 will once again be the media sponsor for this free summer concert series, with WQED-FM hosts on hand to introduce each performance. WQED-FM 89.3 has been a sponsor of this favorite summertime series for more than two decades.
Satisfy your appetite for classical music by treating yourself to a special Sunday morning composed of Bach, Beethoven and Brunch. This outdoor series in Mellon Park in Shadyside is always a weekend favorite with listeners who bring picnic baskets for a delightful morning of classical music in the park. Don’t miss the “Best Brunch” competition during intermission and stop by the WQED-FM table on the Mellon Park lawn and cool yourself off with a WQED-FM fan. Each of the six performances begins at 10:30am on Sundays, June 25 – July 30.
WQED-FM, celebrating its 50th anniversary, will keep the party going during the July 9th concert, featuring the return of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Concertgoers can visit the Classical 89.3 table for special raffles, giveaways and party treats.
