WQED’s television programming is accessible to the blind or people with low vision through Descriptive Video Service (DVS) on 30% of its programming on WQED HD only. This service is available through your television’s SAP channel.

Closed captioning for the deaf and hard of hearing is available on all five of WQED’s  television channels, as well as our digital video catalog:

  • WQED hosts events and meetings at its headquarters building.
  • Accessible parking is available in the upper parking lot near Devonshire.
  • WQED’s accessible entrance is the main entrance on Fifth Avenue.
  • Accessible restrooms are located in the main floor concourse area. All studios and conference rooms are accessible to people using wheelchairs.
  • There is elevator service to all four floors of the building.
