Fiddlesticks travels to Woodland Hills this summer for a new adventure with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. Meet Fiddlesticks, the PSOโs seven-foot tall, cuddly feline friend who loves to dance, clap, and celebrate music with his friends in the neighborhood. Recommended for families with children ages 3 to 8 and their families, this program invites friends of Fiddlesticks new and old to sing, dance, and discover the magic of music together.

Brighton Heights Book Fair at Legion Park
The Brighton Heights Citizens Federation is excited to announce the first-ever Brighton Heights Book Fair, taking place Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Legion Park. The free community event will celebrate reading, literacy, and neighborhood connections for book lovers of all ages.
The inaugural fair will feature a large community book swap, where attendees are encouraged to bring a book, leave a book. Separate swap tables will be available for both childrenโs and adult books.
Families can enjoy a dedicated Kids Zone with hands-on activities, while readers can explore more than 20 community resource tables, local vendors, and literary organizations. Among the featured vendors will be Ravenโs Quill, a local romantasy-themed mobile bookstore.
The event will also showcase local authors, offer chances to win raffle prizes, and provide opportunities to connect with fellow readers throughout the day. At 1 p.m., attendees are invited to participate in One Book: A Brighton Heights Greater Book Club Discussion.
The Brighton Heights Book Fair is free and open to the public. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and help launch what organizers hope will become a cherished neighborhood tradition.
