Did you know there was a classical music war during the 19th-century? Come hear Carnegie Mellon University’s All University Orchestra perform works by composers involved in this cultural conflict. Under the direction of AUO Music Director Dr. Jeffrey Klefstad, the AUO will perform Felix Mendelssohn’s “Overture to his A Midsummer Night’s Dream Overture,” Franz Listz’s “Symphonic Poem Nr. 3 ‘Les Preludes,'” and Johannes Brahms’ “Symphony Nr. 2. in D-major. ”
