Educator Resources from PBS

Learn from our WQED Staff

WQED Education is comprised of multi-disciplinary educators who create interactive learning experiences for students in any learning space. Our staff provides useful, child-engaging professional development that feature PBS programs, standards-aligned and highly effective evidence-based curriculum. We hope you’ll join us!

  • Our professional development can be 1 hour to 3 hours in length depending on the needs of your organization/space.
  • WQED requires a minimum of 10 learners.
  • Attendees should have a laptop or iPad for hands-on exploration during sessions.
  • Projector/Smartboard required for presenter.
  • Act 48 continuing education credit will be rewarded to those who provide PPID numbers.
  • 1 hour sessions are FREE to Intermediate Units, parent groups, librarians and Head Starts as well as upon request. Donations from parent/community groups are accepted. Anything above an hour will require some form of payment or donation.
