The annual celebration of INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY on March 8th is a global occasion celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. Sunday Baroque will celebrate the occastion with performances by outstanding musicians such as Austrian violinist and conductor, Michi Gaigg, who founded and direct the internationally renowned L'Orfeo Baroque Orchestra …and violinist and baroque music expert Jeanne Lamon, who led Canada's Tafelmusik for more than three decades.
