Chamber Music Pittsburgh’s 2023–24 MainStage Live season concludes with a performance by their artists in residence. United by a passion for music old and new, the fearlessly imaginative Ying Quartet and celebrated composer/double bassist Xavier Foley embody the collaborative spirit of CMP’s artist residency program. This spring concert features Franz Joseph Haydn’s String Quartet in B-flat Major, Antonin Dvořák’s String Quintet in G Major, and the world premiere of a new work by Foley commissioned by Chamber Music Pittsburgh.

This engagement of the Ying Quartet and Xavier Foley is made possible in part through the ArtsCONNECT program of Mid Atlantic Arts with support from the National Endowment for the Arts.
