Four Pieces for Piano, Op. 119 Johannes Brahms(1833-1897)
No. 1: Intermezzo in B minor
No. 2: Intermezzo in E minor
No. 3: Intermezzo in C Major
No. 4: Rhapsody in E-flat Major

Claude Debussy’s Ballade displays colorful harmonies and fluid textures, reminiscent of the Impressionistic paintings of Claude Monet. Franz Schubert’s final piano sonata, D. 960, features his supreme gift for creating heartfelt and memorable lyricism. And Johannes Brahms’ four pieces, Op. 119, represent his masterful and signature blend of 19th-century Romantic warmth with 18th-century Classicism and structure.
