Dorothy A. Davis
Community Engagement Committee
Dot Davis is a Member at Eckert Seamans. She concentrates her practice on commercial, business, and real estate transactions and litigation in both individual cases and class actions. Ms. Davis serves as Chair of the Financial Services Litigation practice and is the Chair of the firm’s Board of Directors. Her broad litigation and counseling experience enables her to bring a unique and practical problem-solving perspective to a range of legal challenges and opportunities.
Active in the community, Ms. Davis serves as a Trustee of the Pittsburgh Public Theater and The University of Pittsburgh Law Alumni Association. She has served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Carlow University, as well as on the Executive Committee of the Pittsburgh Film Office. Ms. Davis is also a past Director of the Little Lake Theater Company, The Wesley Institute, Neighborhood Legal Services, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra’s New Leadership Board, Girl Scouts of Southwestern Pennsylvania, Allegheny County Library Association, and Angel Ridge Animal Rescue.
Ms. Davis earned her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, at Carlow University.
