Write On! EQT 2016 Writers Contest runs Jan 5 - March 31, 2016

Few things capture a child's imagination like a good book. Each year, WQED, PBS39, WITF, WPSU and West Virginia Public Broadcasting encourage children in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, in Kindergarten through 5th grade, to create their own stories and take part in the PBS KIDS Writers Contest.

The 2016 Contest ran from January 5th through March 31st. Be sure to check out the winning stories from our 2016 contest! You can also read the winning entries from previous years.

The Contest is brought to you locally - for the 7th year! - by the EQT Foundation, a long-time supporter of raising readers in our community.
