Classical Revolution Pittsburgh returns to Bar Marco with a small chamber orchestra, a harpsichord, and a mostly baroque program including Bach's Brandenburg Concerto #5, Respighi's Ancient Airs and Dances, and Handel's Concerto Grosso Op. 6 #9.

Free screenings of this family Christmas classic. Directed by Frank Capra, it stars Jimmy Stewart as George Bailey, a small-town guy with big ideas.
The Graphic Work of William D. Davis and Peter Milton. Both are graphic artists working primarily in black and white. The exhibit features about 25 works on paper by the two artists.
Notte di Natale
The serene story of the Nativity inspired an inexhaustible canon of pastoral music. Joined by Mezzo-soprano Raquel Winnica Young and a mellifluous flock of instrumentalists (Dawn Posey, Baroque violin; and Adam Pearl, Chamber organ), Chatham Baroque will safely graze on the most sublime music of Handel, Scarlatti, Bach, and Buxtehude.
East Winds Saxophones at The Nutcracker
The East Winds Saxophone Quintet plays on the balcony at the Benedum Center before the ballet, and during intermission. Ticket purchase is necessary.
Home for the Holidays
WSO Artistic Director Daniel Meyer conducts the WSO's annual holiday concert, featuring favorite instrumental and choral music featuring the All-Star Choir of Westmoreland County prepared by Michael Rozell.
PB&J - Raise Your Voice!
Chatham Baroque's Peanut Butter & Jam Sessions are designed for preschool children and their accompanying adults. Based on a model developed by the Linton Chamber Music Series in Cincinnati, PB&J is hosted by certified Kindermusik teacher Lynda Wingerd, and encourages young children to become active and enthusiastic listeners through music, dance and games. Chatham Baroque performs live, often with guest artists.
Russian and Rusyn Christmas
Warren Davidson conducts Eight Russian Folk Songs by Anatol Liadov, Christmas Eve Polonaise by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, and welcomes the St. Nicholas Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church Choir.
PSO Brass - A Christmas Concert: Music for McGuire
The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Brass will present an hour-long concert titled "A Christmas Concert: Music for McGuire." All proceeds will benefit McGuire Memorial Home's services for patients with mental or physical disabilities. A 2:30 "pre-concert" will feature Quaker Valley School musicians, directed by Chris Burgh. A $25 donation is suggested.
