Blur
Founded in 2011 by former Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre dancer Alan Obuzor,  Texture is comprised of classically-trained professional ballet dancers who have danced and trained at some of America's top ballet companies and schools. Dancers are brought together on a project basis to create and present predominantly contemporary and neo-classical work.

Chekhov Celebration: Three Sisters
Three Sisters poignantly conveys the lives, struggles, loves, and secret desires of sisters Masha, Olga, and Irina and their somewhat ineffectual brother Andrei. Set in a mythological provincial town in late 19th century Russia, we see their lives unfold before our eyes. Translated by Paul Schmidt and directed by Harriet Power.

Cuban Music and Art Festival
Founder, captain, and conductor Robert Boudreau leads the AWSO in a free concert of Cuban music aboard the Point Counterpoint II, designed by architect Louis Kahn. Cuban art will be on display in the gallery below deck. The concert will feature Leo Brouwer's Cancion de Gesta, composed as a gift for the AWSO by Cuba's Leo Brouwer.
