-18°F /-28°C Surviving the Polar Vortex Overnight in a Snow Shelter

We had a polar vortex that brought some of the coldest temperatures we've had in decades here in Pennsylvania. I headed to the mountains of the Laurel Highlands to camp out. I decided to build a snow shelter. I'm also testing my new North Face Inferno -40° sleeping bag to see how it performs. I survived the night, and had some breakfast in the morning over a campfire before I left.
