What happens to all those hats when there's a hat trick at Pittsburgh Penguins hockey games? Mike Behme of Boy Scout Troop 830 in Clinton, Pennsylvania found out they were being thrown in the trash, so he created Hat Tricks 4 Humanity as his Eagle Scout community service project. The hats now go to local and international charities. Sidney Crosby congratulated Mike and gave WQED a surprise interview for this story. Writer/Producer: David Solomon. In the early 1900s, photographer Leo Beachy took captivating images of life in Western Maryland, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia, but most of his glass plate negatives were destroyed in 1927. In recent years, Beachy's niece, Maxine Broadwater, recovered 2,700 negatives and is working to bring her uncle's remarkable legacy back to life.
