The Meadows Lanes has been an oasis for black bowlers in Homewood since 1974. It's history in Pittsburgh, which goes back through duck pins and the 1940's, of putting some of the first integrated teams on the pro women's tour is remarkable. Despite recent hard times "This House" continues to train young African American bowlers for the future.
