WQED Multimedia wins seven Emmy Awards in the Mid-Atlantic Region of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Emmy statuettes were presented at a ceremony in Philadelphia to the following WQED team members.

WQED Pittsburgh received 16 Emmy nominations from the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. For the sixth consecutive year, WQED was recognized with a nomination in the coveted category of Station Excellence.
