Carol Lee Espy's report on the banning and removal of landmines was shown at a November 12 concert in Washington, DC.
The Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation presented singer Emmylou Harris with its Patrick Leahy Humanitarian Award for her campaign against landmines. Espy, along with WQED coworkers David Solomon and Paul Ruggieri produced the story. Read the concert review in Rolling Stone.

OnQ contributor Gina Catanzarite won the Mid-Atlantic Emmy award in the category of Individual Achievement: Writer/Programming.
At a ceremony on September 14 in Philadelphia. Gina was recognized for her stories on Project Hope, an agency that helps Americans adopt Russian orphans, and Eyes On The Prize, a support group for women with gynecological cancer. Read more in the P-G.
