Felton Thomas, Jr., was appointed director of the Cleveland (Ohio) Public Library (CPL) in January 2009. Prior to accepting the position of director of CPL, Thomas served as director of Regional Branch Services for the Las Vegas-Clark County (Nev.) Library District and President of the Nevada Library Association.

Mary Frances Cooper

As the 11th President and Director of Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, Mary Frances Cooper, MLS, champions the changing and increasingly important role of libraries in society, leads new efforts to secure avenues for sustainable funding and works to strengthen the Library’s relationships with key community partners.

Marie Belle Vargas

Marie Belle Vargas is currently the Library Media Specialist at PS1x in New York City. She holds Master's degrees in Library and Information Science and in Bilingual education, and has more than 20 years of experience working with bilingual and mainstream students.
