Felton Thomas, Jr., was appointed director of the Cleveland (Ohio) Public Library (CPL) in January 2009. Prior to accepting the position of director of CPL, Thomas served as director of Regional Branch Services for the Las Vegas-Clark County (Nev.) Library District and President of the Nevada Library Association.

Marie Belle Vargas is currently the Library Media Specialist at PS1x in New York City. She holds Master’s degrees in Library and Information Science and in Bilingual education, and has more than 20 years of experience working with bilingual and mainstream students.
