OVERVIEW
Pittsburgh Foundry and Machine Company is a metal casting sales and sourcing company founded in 1901 in Lawrenceville, in the heart of Pittsburgh. In 2017, we joined with the historic West Salisbury Foundry and Machine Company, a West Salisbury, Pennsylvania-based business founded in 1884, which produces some of the finest sand-cast iron in the United States.
Together, we strive to exceed expectations with superior solutions and superior service. We’ve worked to become the premier manufacturer and source for quality ferrous and nonferrous castings, including gray iron, ductile iron, NiHard, white iron and high chrome iron, as well as steel, stainless steel, bronze, brass, copper, aluminum, and more. We see the work through from start to finish, and this dedication has helped us build many lasting customer relationships over the last 139+ years.
As an experienced American company, we stand behind USA sourced and made materials. Our customers span the globe, and are a diverse mixture of steel mills, equipment producers, engineering firms, power plants, railroad companies, government entities, and individual buyers serving a variety of industries, from power generation to railroad to nuclear and aerospace—and more.
