Harmonia
with Angela Mariani
The Art of Intabulation, Part 2 - Join us this week on Harmonia for the second episode in our series on intabulation. The art of intabulation was an important skill for musicians to learn from in Renaissance to the Baroque periods. It was how they created new music for their instruments by adapting existing music from other sources. We'll hear choral works become large organ pieces and explore how Bach turned a chamber sonata into an intricate solo work for the keyboard.
