John Brown - Mt. Lebanon Farmers Market

John Brown, Market Manager of the Mount Lebanon Farmers Market and President of the Mount Lebanon Lions Club, has the story on one of Western Pennsylvania's oldest markets which benefits 18 other non-profit organizations and supports a project with the Library. The market runs every Wednesday from 4 to 7pm at the Mount Lebanon United Lutheran Church at 975 Washington Road in Pittsbugh. Vendors include BBQ, Mediterra Bakehouse, Nellie's Sandwiches, Wu's Shaved Ice, Pleasant Lane Farmers Cheese, Joe's Nuts, Paul's Orchard, Colombino Coffee, Anthos Greek Foods, Sand Hill Berries, Wild Rivers kettle Korn, Fusion Chocolate, Costello Honey, Dillner Family Farm and Cherish Creamery. John fills us in on the deer population in Mount Lebanon and suggests restaurants for after the Market to make it a special trip. John Brown has served in several roles of civic planning in Steubenville and the South Hills after degrees from Thiel College and the University of Pittsburgh.
