Pittsburgh Symphony Principal harp Gretchen van Hoesen plays Bright Sheng’s "Never Far Away." Hear all about it in this conversation with Jim Cunningham. It’s  a Concert for Inclusivity with the Carnegie Mellon Philharmonic conducted by Guillermo Figueroa on Friday January 25th, 2019, 8pm, at Carnegie Music Hall.  The concert also features Anthony Davis’ "Notes From the Underground," Aaron Copland’s "Lincoln Portrait," Joan Tower’s "Fanfare for the Uncommon Woman," John Corigliano’s Promenade Overture, and Miguel del Aguila’s "Conga."  Tickets are $10, and $5 for Students and seniors.
