Water color artist Gary Bukovnik is featured in "Forever Spring," running through November 2021 in the Welcome Center at Pittsburgh Botanic Garden in Oakdale. On September 9th, he appears for an evening reception and dinner and will present a gift to the permanent collection. September 10th, he presents a Watercolor Masterclass from 9 till noon. Gary Bukovnik is from Cleveland and now lives in San Francisco. One of his early exhibitions was at the Carnegie Museum of Art and he's had a solo show at Concept Art Gallery in Pittsburgh as well as around the world in Europe and Asia as well as the US. He spent time as a visiting artist at the American Academy in Rome. Gary loves classical music and has donated work to the San Francisco Symphony and other orchestras. He is a huge fan of WQED-FM having donated prints to the fundraising effort and listens online in his gallery while working.
