Pablo Heras-Casado makes his Pittsburgh Symphony debut with an all Russian program bringing together the Rimsky-Korsakoff Capriccio Espagnol, Shostakovich Cello Concerto No. 1 with Maximilian Hornung, and the Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 1, "Winter Dreams." He speaks about some of recent recordings and suggests what you should do when you visit his home town of Granada while praising Pittsburgh with it’s magnificent orchestra, Fallingwater, and the Andy Warhol Museum.
