Cellist Maximilian Hornung returns to the Pittsburgh Symphony to play Shostakovich Cello Concerto No. 1 on October 26th and 28th, 2018.  He shares his thoughts about the music and remembers his home town of Augsburg, Germany. He lives in Munich now so there is a discussion of Oktoberfest and beer.
