Who Will Give? - This week on Harmonia, we¬'ve gathered six pieces of music from the thirteenth through seventeenth centuries each of which begins with the words ¬"Quis dabit¬" - that is Latin for ¬"Who will give¬Ö¬" Plus, our featured release is Il labirinto arm√≥nico, violin music of Pietro Locatelli, performed by Ilya Gringolts and the Finnish Baroque Orchestra.
 7 AM - 11 AM
Sunday Baroque
Francesca Caccini was a lutenist and composer born in 1587 ¬Ė so she was active as a musician right in the early years of the baroque era that began in around 1600. One of her friends was painter Artemisia Gentileschi, whose father, Orazio Gentileschi, created a famous portrait called The Lute Player. There¬'s been speculation that Francesca Caccini was the subject of the painting. Sunday Baroque will feature one of Francesca Caccini¬'s compositions.
