High Strung, whose members go by the names Smitty and Deese, will return for their sixth time in the 35-year-old recital series with a program they call “If it ain’t Baroque, Don’t Fix It!”

Smitty and Deese play numerous stringed instruments and sing folk music and other works, in carefully crafted arrangements.

Each program is followed by a light lunch. There is no charge because all costs have been covered by grants from the 1889 Foundation and Thrivent Financial plus individual donations.
