The East Winds Symphonic Band presents the 19th annual Pittsburgh area band festival at Franklin Regional High School in Murrysville, PA. Allegheny Brass Band, Community Band South and the East Winds Symphonic Band will be featured, along with an all-new 2025 Regional Festival Band. Conducting this group of musicians from around the Southwestern Pennsylvania region will be Amy Steiner, co-founder, music director and conductor of the Buffalo Wind Symphony. WQED-FM’s Jim Cunningham will again be the program host for this exciting afternoon of music. The Festival is free and open to the public. Auditorium doors open at 1:00 PM and free refreshments will be served following the performance.
