On Saturday, February 22, 2025 7:30pm at Rodef Shalom and Sunday, February 23, 2025, 3:00pm at Bower Hill Community Church, The Chamber Orchestra of Pittsburgh performs the Pittsburgh premiere of the Concerto for Cimbalom by Jonathan Blair, featuring guest percussionist Matthew Coley as the soloist. The program further includes two exceptional works for string orchestra, Elgar’s Elegy for Strings and Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings.

Matthew Coley is an internationally acclaimed soloist and chamber musician, and the founder and executive/co-artistic director of Heartland Marimba. He is also the executive director and curator at the Center for Mallet Percussion Research at Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA. He has performed in over 40 US states, 10 countries, and as a soloist with organizations throughout the US and abroad

Tickets are $30 for adults if purchased in advance and $35 at the door. Student tickets are $10. Tickets are available online at www.copgh.org.
