The Point at Pittsburgh: Rising to the Challenge

Join us at the Fort Pitt Museum in Pittsburgh, PA, for a presentation by local historian and Pittsburgh expert Kelly Linn as part of the 2025 Fort Pitt Speaker Saturdays. This presentation is included with regular museum admission.

Examine the topographical and community history of the Point from 1754, when the first fort was erected, until 1950, when the first building was demolished to make way for Point State Park.  Follow the many dramatic transitions and changes which have occurred at The Point, a place which has seen all that Pittsburgh history has to offer.
