Third Presbyterian Church presents Carlo Aonzo in a solo recital of music for mandolin. A native of Italy, Mr. Aonzo is a renowned mandolin player and teacher, and a champion of the classical repertoire written for the instrument. He will present a concert showcasing mandolin compositions from three centuries, from its Italian origins in the Baroque period through the great virtuosic works of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, known as the “Golden Age” of the mandolin in the United States and Europe.
