MakerDate is a remix of a date auction that pairs local Makers with curious skill-seekers. It’s like a playdate for grownups where you get to meet a local expert and learn how to make something new. Attendees place bids in the Live and Silent Auctions to connect with a local expert who will guide them on a making adventure. Bid to learn how to code, brew beer, or create a mural with the creative community of Pittsburgh — the possibilities are endless! It is also an amazing opportunity to connect with fellow artists, makers, and technologists.

All funds raised at MakerDate directly support Assemble’s STEAM education programs for youth, teens, and adults, like Assemble Afterschool, Saturday Crafternoons, Hack the Future, and Summer Camps!
