BRITSBURGH FESTIVAL – Tree Planting to honor King Charles III

Britsburgh is kicking off the Britsburgh Festival’s 10th Year with a Tree Planting in honor of King Charles III. Light refreshments will be served, but all are encouraged to bring your family and pack your picnic basket and enjoy a day at the Allegheny River Trail Park.

Britsburgh founding member Robert Charlesworth will provide a brief history of Britsburgh and how the Tree Planting came about. Britsburgh member Stephen Shandor talks about King Charles III as an environmentalist and tree advocate and the Queen’s Canopy Initiative which has resulted in over million trees planted.
