As part of the 10th Britsburgh Festival, Britsburgh will also celebrate 60 years of BBC TWO with a substantial “Tea” at The Fabled Table as Britsburgh Board member Stephen Shandor explores the history of BBC TWO with a multimedia presentation. Over the years, BBC TWO drama productions, such as “The Six Wives of Henry VIII”, “Elizabeth R” and “I, Claudius” were broadcast around the world. Science, art and history were explored as well, in Kenneth Clark’s “Civilisation”, Jacob Bronowski’s “The Ascent of Man” and James Burke’s “Connections”.
