In the spirit of all cut-throat, die-hard trivia events, The Reading Room Pittsburgh is proud to present our first-ever Banned Book Trivia Night!

This isn’t your average trivia night. It’s a battle of wits, strategy, and just a little bit of sabotage—all in the name of literacy! Gather your sharpest friends, form a team, and prepare for a night of competitive fun as we dive into the world of banned books, rebellious authors, and literary controversies.

But be warned: This isn’t just about being the smartest in the room. If the questions get too tough, you can pass them to your rivals—for a price. And if you’re falling behind on the leaderboard, you can buy extra points to stay in the game. At the end of the night, even the winners aren’t safe—because the trophy can be bought right out from under them!

It’s competitive. It’s ruthless. It’s all for a good cause.

Pass a Question: $20 to pass a tough question to another team
Extra Points: $15 each to stay competitive
