The third concert of the 2026 Blairsville Chamber Music Festival celebrates America’s 250th anniversary with an inspiring afternoon of music shaped by the American spirit. Presented in the historic St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, a nearly 200-year-old landmark in downtown Blairsville (just 45 minutes east of Pittsburgh), this special festival program features Amy Beach’s sweeping Piano Quintet, Dvořák’s beloved “American” String Quartet, and a new work by violinist and composer Ariel Horowitz. From folk-inspired melodies to bold, expressive voices, the program reflects the richness, energy, and evolving story of American music and identity.
