I just received your letter today regarding my father, Murray J. Goldman. I was so surprised and so touched by this. It would mean so much to us to have this portrait. My father passed away 25 years ago this February 10, 2017. My father met my future mother in Berlin either in 1944 or 1945 and brought her back with him to the USA at the end of the war when he was discharged. There was an article about Murray and my mother, Margot, published in the Bridgeport Herald in 1947 entitled, "Girl Who Escaped Nazi Terror Honeymooning with an Ex-G.I." Elizabeth Black really performed a very loving service to the soldiers and their families of World War II. Thank you so much for you and your team's perseverance in trying to locate my family. - Sincerely, Barbara G. Moss, Margate, Florida - January 17, 2017.
