The Creator Studio is proud to offer a Film & Media College Fair for students interested in pursuing film, broadcasting, or media and digital arts on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
The Film & Media College Fair will be hosted on April 10th from 5:00-8:00PM EST at Penn Hills High school, located at 309 Collins Dr, Penn Hills, PA 15235.
This year’s College Fair is a hybrid event, accessible both in-person and virtually! Local schools will be tabling at Penn Hills High School from 5:00-7:30PM EST—during this time period students will have the opportunity to talk with faculty and recruiting officers from some of the top film programs in the Southwest Pennsylvania area.
The fair will also host presentations from some of the top film program colleges across the country virtually via zoom. Presentations from 6 schools will be held every 20 minutes from 5:00-7:30PM EST. These presentations will be hosted during the fair, but can also be attended remotely via zoom. During their time blocks, each college will discuss their program and answer questions from students. The virtual college fair will be held via one zoom link that will be sent out to registered students.
Students will be able to view short videos and marketing materials provided by schools ahead of the fair. Students can familiarize themselves with the programs and come prepared to ask questions. These videos will be available a few weeks before the event.
The last 30 minutes will be reserved for Creator Academy alumni and current college students from the participating schools to come together and chat with high schoolers in a peer-based Q&A session. This will allow high-school students to gain insight and ask candid questions regarding the schools’ respective programs.
We’re looking forward to seeing you there!
