Scott Higgins
Scott Higgins brings over two decades of leadership at FedEx, where he currently serves as Vice President of Finance. His career spans engineering, IT, finance, strategy, and operations—leading transformative initiatives that have reshaped FedEx’s global logistics and financial systems. Known for his ability to integrate cross-functional expertise, Scott has managed multi-billion-dollar portfolios and driven strategic growth through innovation and collaboration.
A proud Greensburg native and Penn State graduate, Scott holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with honors. He is also a graduate of Leadership Pittsburgh, Class XL, which deepened his commitment to civic engagement and regional development.
Scott joined the WQED Board in 2025 to support its education-focused mission and give back to an iconic Pittsburgh institution that has shaped generations. He is passionate about helping WQED remain a vital force in public media—educating, inspiring, and connecting communities for years to come.
Scott lives in Robinson Township with his wife, Jennifer. He is a champion of mentorship, innovation, and lifelong learning, and is proud to contribute his leadership to an organization that continues to enrich lives across Southwestern Pennsylvania.
