Haggai Dror
Haggai Dror is an investor and operating executive focused on lower-middle-market businesses in the architecture, engineering, construction, and infrastructure sectors. Previously, he spent nearly a decade with Shikun & Binui, where he held senior leadership roles and helped build and scale the company’s U.S. operations. He led the relocation of Shikun & Binui USA’s headquarters to Pittsburgh, establishing the region as the center of the company’s U.S. business, and played a key role in major infrastructure transactions, acquisitions, and new business initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Dror was a strategy consultant with Monitor Deloitte and served as Chief of Staff to the global CEO of Shikun & Binui. He also served as a Major in the Israel Defense Forces’ Combat Engineering Corps.
Mr. Dror serves on the boards of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and Community Day School. He is passionate about WQED’s role as a trusted Pittsburgh institution and its ability to strengthen the region through public media, education, and thoughtful local programming.
Mr. Dror holds an M.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Economics and Psychology, magna cum laude, from Ben-Gurion University in Be’er Sheva, Israel.
