Ahmed El Nokali
Mr. El Nokali is the Head of Capital Markets at First National Bank (FNB). In his role, Mr. El Nokali is responsible for overseeing FNB’s Loan Syndication team, Debt Capital Markets, Public Finance, and Interest Rate Hedging.
Prior to joining FNB, Mr. El Nokali was a Director at Bank of America (BAML) where he led the Corporate Team based in Dubai with responsibilities covering the Middle East and African markets. Previously, Mr. El Nokali worked for Deutsche Bank in London where he advised corporate clients on market-based risks.
Mr. El Nokali earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University and received an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. El Nokali currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Princeton Alumni Association of Western Pennsylvania as well as the Board of Directors for the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre where he also serves as Assistant Treasurer and Co-Chair of the Finance Committee.
Mr. El Nokali is a 2025 graduate of the Leadership Pittsburgh program. As an avid Pittsburgher who grew up on programming from WQED, Mr. El Nokali is excited for the opportunity to contribute to the vibrancy of a beloved Pittsburgh institution.
