Golden Quill Awards | Celebrating Communication Excellence

 
PITTSBURGH -- During the 56th Annual Golden Quill Awards on September 3, WQED was honored to receive 12 awards, including two "Best of Show" honors for overall excellence in broadcast journalism and video, and wins in the Documentary and Multi-Platform Project categories. Additionally, the Quills honored Chris Moore with the 2020 President's Award in lifetime achievement, presented annually by the Press Club of Western Pennsylvania.

The ceremony, held virtually this year honors professional and student excellence in print, broadcast, photography, videography and digital journalism in Western Pennsylvania.
