JEAN I know that several years ago WITF, the public TV station in Harrisburg was trying to do a documentary about historical markers across the state -- and they hoped we at WQED would be involved -- but I don't know if it ever happened. I love historical markers, and I certainly love history. If it's OK, I'll put your suggestion on my GOOD IDEAS list. No promises. I never know what will happen next, but I'd be happy to get involved in such a project.

Dear Rick:

I've been watching you on tv ever since you were on Ricki and Copper, but I'm not much older than you. I had a thought about historical markers. I told Dave and Dave they could have fun with historical markers. For example, Washington crossed the Potomac, why not at Ohiopyle? The sign by the waterfall says a lot.
You could create a whole book with historical markers and events surrounding the roads and places there. Why not think about it? Dave and Dave said they weren't into history much. How about you? Thanks for your entertaining work.
