When I arrived in New York in 1971 there was no place to get the pulled pork barbecue that I came to love while I was in school in North Carolina. Now there are almost a dozen places to get authentic barbecue. Next step are pork tenderloin sandwiches. I have to have another one! And I want to have it with Rick!!
Hope Char-Bett, and those great kids that work there, go on forever!

Never, ever heard of tenderloin with breakfast in 41 years living in Indiana! But the pork tenderloin sure can be one of life's true pleasures.

JIM
My next time at the Char Bett, it's a vanilla malt and a burger. This was just my trip to try a few variations on the pork tenderloin. I made a show called SANDWICHES THAT YOU WILL LIKE, and I discovered tenderloins in Iowa on one of our stops, but I didn't get to include them in my show. Next time.
I think Russel Rein also complained about never finding the Whitehouse open, so I guess we were just lucky. It's tiny and firm and fully packed, and I was interested in the idea of tenderloin and eggs for breakfast. Is that a standard breakfast option in Indiana or something quirky at the Whitehouse?
I fixed the link to your site too. It's very nice.

Excellent! I drive the DH between Indy (where I live now) and South Bend (my hometown) all the time. The highlight of the trip is the chocolate malt I get at the Char-Bett.

The White House is hard to find open. They keep odd hours, something like 4 am to 1 pm. But the burgers are go-oood.
