Both Governor Rendell and Chief Executive Dan Onorato have convened advisory committees on transportation funding and planning. With bridges collapsing on area Interstates and the Port Authority approaching yet another funding crisis deadline, the time is ripe for public input and civic leadership on the issue of transportation. In the face of these challenges, this year's Fellowship have worked since May to research the range of issues and engage dozens of experts to become informed citizen leaders and to help lead public discussions and engagement on how we can develop a regional perspective on sustainable transportation funding, planning and prioritization.|
