Submarine Sandwich

What you'll need:
1 loaf French bread
4 ounces of your favorite cheese (Swiss, provolone, American, etc.)
1/2 pound salami, sliced
1/2 pound fully cooled smoked ham or turkey, thinly sliced
2 cups lettuce, shredded
2 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 medium green pepper, thinly sliced
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing or another dressing you like
Butter or margarine

Cut the bread in half, horizontally. Spread the bottom half with butter or margarine. Layer the cheese, ham, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and green pepper. Drizzle the salad dressing on top of the sandwich ingredients. Top with the remaining half of bread. Cut into sections and enjoy!


   
             
       
     

Emulsion Ice Cream

For each serving you will need:
1 small sized, heavy-duty freezer baggy, with a top that seals shut
1 large sized baggy with a top that seals shut

1 Tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup milk

Ice, enough to fill half a large baggy
6 Tablespoons salt

Add the sugar, vanilla, then milk to the baggie. Seal tightly at the top.
Add the ice to the large baggy.
Add the salt into the bag with the ice.
Put the small baggy inside of the larger one and seal at the top. Shake the plastic bags for 5 - 10 minutes until the mixture freezes.
