A Challenge Grant allows individuals and businesses a special opportunity to lend their support to WQED Multimedia in two different ways during an on-air membership drive. Through your Challenge Grant, you can support WQED by giving a financial gift of your own, while at the same time encouraging others to support the programs and services that we all know and love.

How it Works
Challenge Grants are easy to make and can be made by almost anyone, whether it is in honor of a loved one, through the Business Partners program, or even anonymous. All you have to do is contact us and let us know that you are interested, select a grant amount, and leave the rest to us.

Your personalized message and challenge will be announced numerous times throughout your allotted time-slot during a membership drive. Other viewers and listeners will then be encouraged to call in and match your challenge amount. By offering a Challenge Grant, you are not only showing your enthusiasm for public broadcasting, but also encouraging others to follow your lead and join the WQED family.
