Matching Gifts
Many local, national and world-wide businesses and organizations are participants in the Matching Gifts program. As participants, they each have a policy to match donations made to WQED by employees, retirees, spouses, and/or widows or widowers. In this way, individuals wishing to make a financial gift to WQED Pittsburgh have the opportunity to double their gift simply by meeting the criteria of a participating company. Please note, each company has its own set of policies involving Matching Gifts, so please check with the human resources office of your company to find out their specific rules or to obtain a matching gift form. Challenge Grants
A Challenge Grant allows individuals and businesses a special opportunity to lend their support to WQED Pittsburgh in two different ways during on-air membership drives.
Through your Challenge Grant, you can:
- Support WQED by giving a financial gift of your own.
- Encourage others to support the programs and services that we all know and love.

WQED MemberCard Program
The WQED MemberCard is a benefit provided for all WQED members that offers them with special discounts to more than 400 businesses in the greater Pittsburgh region. Participating businesses have made an agreement with WQED Multimedia to provide a special offer for our members, and in return, your business automatically gains the support of thousands of members.
