WQED SHOWCASE CHANNEL NOW ON COMCAST CABLE SYSTEMS
PITTSBURGH -- WQED Showcase, WQED’s newest digital channel, now airs on Comcast cable systems in western Pennsylvania. WQED Showcase is available to Comcast subscribers on the following channels: channel 199 in traditional Comcast systems, channel 193 on former Adelphia systems in Morgantown and Taylor County, WV; channel 196 in the South Hills and Monroeville; and channel 200 in New Castle, Indiana, Plum and Punxsutawney.
WQED Showcase airs a mix of popular pledge programming from the WQED archives like QED Cooks; Rick Sebak documentaries; multi-documentary specials hosted by Fennimore and Sebak; and national pledge programming that has never been shown on WQED due to space limitations.
WQED Showcase joins WQED’s other signals, including WQED-TV in HD; WQED: The Create Channel; and WQED: The Neighborhood Channel in providing a wide array of locally-produced and national programming for the Pittsburgh market.
WQED Showcase airs 24 hours a day seven days a week.
