Pittsburgh Magazine's The Style Show Back to Index |
WQED’S PITTSBURGH MAGAZINE PRESENTS
‘ THE STYLE SHOW’
The Style Show is an evening of shopping, live music and entertainment with a runway show of must-have fashions for winter. Fashion retailers will be on display with tables of merchandise for guests to browse and shop. One lucky winner will receive a luxury gift basket of accessories, certificates and specialty items. The first 500 attendees will receive a gift bag containing Estée Lauder Companies, Inc. beauty products, as well as other goodies. “The Style Show is a celebration of more than a year of fashions
and trends you read about each month on the Style pages of PITTSBURGH magazine,” said
Reese Randall, the magazine’s fashion editor for the last seven years. “With
each year, the Pittsburgh fashion community continues to grow its wealth
of specialty boutiques, shops and couture designers. With the introduction
of the magazine’s new Style department this past year, we were able
to highlight fashion, shopping and entertaining.” Women’s retailers participating in The Style Show are Carabella, E.B. Pepper, Full Moon Rising, Iman B., Jake & Mabel, Kaufmann’s, Lazarus-Macy’s, Little Black Dress, Maxalto, Palm Place, Pittsburgh Jeans Co., Saks Fifth Avenue and Sugar Boutique. Men’s retailers are Charles Spiegel, Kaufmann’s, Lazarus-Macy’s, Moda and Saks Fifth Avenue. The jewelry retailer is Caesar’s Designs Jewelry Creations. Hair and make-up is under the direction of John Vella of Salon Vivace. For more information or to register, call 412-622-7068, or log on to www.wqed.org. Registrations will be held at the door for all orders received after August 23, 2004. All proceeds from The Style Show benefit WQED Multimedia.
